The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Hello there, – discovered your current internet site by accident when searching round the net this evening, and glad that i did! I do like the structure and different shades, but I really should mention that I’m having problems when it loads. I’m making use of Netscape 8 internet browser for mac, and the footer does not line up correctly. i am pretty sure I’ve employed the equivalent design on a customer’s site, but the menu seems all straight on mine. I suspect the fault is with my outdated browser and just maybe it’s the perfect time to update!

Hello, – discovered your site due to pure luck while looking round the internet this afternoon, and glad that i did! I do like the page layout and tones, but I have to point out that I’m having issues when it loads. I’m using Netscape 7 browser for mac, and the menu bit does not lineup fully. i am fairly certain I have made use of a similar design on a company’s site, but the menu seems all straight on mine. I have an idea the error is at my end & I’m assuming it’s time to change for a better one!

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

One of the things I check for when reading sites like this, is that there aren’t any spelling or grammatical errors! Makes it tough on the commentor sometimes. Thoroughly good job on that and also the subject matter of this website. Gracias!

Nice article, thanks for sharing the info. It’s not too often that you read a post where the poster knows what they are talking about. Grammar and spelling are good as well, only trouble I seemed to have was bringing up the site, seemed slow. Looks like other people had the same issue?
